About the Course
Ages 9-18 (each child must have a parent or guardian with them that is able to help them. This means if two children from the same family attend, each must have their own adult to assist. Adults may not be split between kids.)
This class combines the learn how to use a sewing machine class and gaining experience with finishing a project. This class is designed for one of our missions to help our community and families in the area find affordable activities and skills to learn.
Learn how to thread the machine, wind bobbins, how to straight stitch, sewing two pieces together, pressing a seam and more. All supplies are provided for this class. This class is a prerequisite for additional sewing classes.
After learning about the machine, kids will be making a basic tote bag.
Refund Policy: There is a $5 non-refundable fee when signing up for class. This is included in your class fee to cover our fees for processing payments if you need to cancel. Cancellations made more than 10 days in advance will receive a full refund minus the $5 fee. Cancellations made within 7-10 days of the class will receive a 75% refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of class will not receive a refund.
